Payton Watson 6’6 2021 G/F Long Beach Poly/The Truth EYBL 16U
Watson is so versatile and I am really looking forward to seeing how he progresses and develops. He keeps so many plays alive due to his incredibly long arms. You think a rebound or loose ball is out of his grasp and boom! Last minute, Watson is grabbing it and getting a quick put back. He makes a lot of plays for his squad.
Justus Jackson 6’0 2021 G Millennium/PHH UAA
Jackson was showing off his decision making ability all weekend long. He simply made the right reads and made the right plays. In true Justus Jackson fashion, of course he put a little flair on the pass but nevertheless, it was the right play. Jackson is really good at collapsing the defense and making a quick kick out.
Kai Hendrix 5’8 2020 G Diamond Ranch/Rancho Elite National
Kai has some shifty handles and is quite elusive. I think his elusiveness comes from his size and quickness. He is able to beat nearly any trap or press and push the ball up the court to make plays for his team. Overall, really impressed by how hard he plays and how much fight he has in him.
Frankie Collins 6’2 2021 G AZ Compass Prep/Dream Vision Next
Collins was definitely the best point guard of the event. His play making and decision making ability is unreal. He makes some of the most impressive passes I have ever seen. He makes some of the hardest passes look routine whenever he is running the floor.
