Maxwell Lewis 6’8 2021 F AZ Compass Prep/Dream Vision Next
Maxwell Lewis is an athletic freak. He is ridiculously long and I feel like most young players with his length are very awkward, but he is fully coordinated and moves well. He is actually very fast and can get up and down the court smoothly. He is quite bouncy and threw down an in-between the legs dunk in game!
JT Elder 6’6 2021 F Cienega/PHH UAA
Elder has come a long way and is still steadily improving. He is great at ripping and attacking from the wing spot. He has great jumping ability and long arms, making it easy for him to finish and adjust to defenders mid air. He also looked solid defensively from time to time. When he pressures his man, he is a very good perimeter defender.
DaRon Holmes 6’10 2021 F Millennium/PHH UAA
DaRon looked like he is a top 50 player in the nation. He stands out greatly from his own teammates and every other player in the gym. You can just tell that this kid is special whenever you watch him and you know how great he could be. He runs the floor so well and has a motor that is unmatched.
Boubacar Coulibaly 6’10 2020 F San Gabriel/Dream Vision Next
Speaking of high motor players, Boubacar is definitely one of them! He really impressed me with his defensive effort and how well he ran the floor. Often he would block a shot and then sprint down the court and get a dunk. Due to his speed and length, he was always the first one down on the other end of the floor in transition.
Makur Maker 7’0 2020 F Orange Lutheran/Dream Vision 17U
Makur Maker is so versatile! He is 7ft tall and has really solid handles! He can also shoot the ball from three really well. I feel like sometimes he settles for that shot instead of attacking the basket. When he does attack the basket, he is virtually unstoppable due to his size and athleticism.
