Jhei-R Jones (Illinois T-Wolves 16U)
Jones went off on the first night of Havoc. The Lincoln Way East point guard is small, but has compact strength. He was slick getting to the rim over and over for layups. Burst with the ball in his hands and attacks with reckless abandon. Finds the crease in the defense and hits it like a running back.
Myriece Byrd (Peoria Area Elite 17U)
Byrd was an excellent complimenting piece to Pee Wee Brown. He is a quick guard that does a nice job of getting everyone involved with his passing while still being an impact scorer. He knocked down jumpers consistently while also pushing in the open floor.
Emaryon Byrd (Peoria Area Elite 17U)
Byrd is a 6’4” 2021 shooting guard with fluid athleticism at his size. Flashed scoring potential, but most of it is still upside at this point. Rebounds well for a wing. Really looking forward to how he develops over the next year.
Aaron Tims (Team RWA 17U)
Tims is an elite offensive rebounder with his quick second jump. Proved he could do that at a high level over the weekend. Uses his quickness around the hoop to score regularly with dunks.
Connor Webb (Team RWA 17U)
Webb has seen a steady climb this spring with his play. The Lisle small forward is a classic three and D wing that can shoot it from three along with defending at a high level. Very underrated athlete that threw down several big dunks.
Lance Mosley (HIT 17U)
Mosley is another player who has helped his stock with a strong spring. Athletic shooting guard that was consistently accurate with his jumper over the course of the event. Also makes plays in the open floor.
Devin Davis (Young & Reckless 17U)
Davis had one dynamic game which showcased his full abilities. Burst with the ball in his hands and can shoot it very well from mid-range. Active defender that creates steals.
Odin Lium (HIT 16U)
Lium is a rangy 6’5” wing with plus athleticism. He is also a highly skilled player that shoots it well from the perimeter. Such a versatile player who scores from all three levels. One of the biggest stock risers of the spring in his 2021 class.
Tyler Van Eekeren (HIT 16U)
Van Eekeren is another wing from HIT that has made noise this spring. The Benet Academy product is a tough and athletic small forward with a nice skill level and is an outstanding utility player.
Kai Evans (Young & Reckless 16U)
Evans is a bouncy two guard that plays above the rim. He did that all weekend with huge jams showing off his combination of power and athleticism on a regular basis.
