This event will team up with Brandon Clay’s NCAA certified event for girls at Lakepoint. Shun Williams, the director of On The Radar Hoops event has always had some big events in the state of Georgia. This weekend is no different. Let’s take a look at some of the headlines for this event.
16U YRN…..LOADED
The Amigos the rap group has their own AAU squad. YRN(Young Rich Nation). They have had a great spring so far. Two weeks ago, YRN won the Southern Springs Invitational in Birmingham. They have made it to the semifinals of every event they have participated in this season. South Cobb’s Zocko Littleton leads the way for this squad. He already has an offer from Xavier. His teammate, 6-9 Malique Ewin has also had a solid spring. Throw in Andrew McConnell, and YRN has a big 3.
DIKEMBE’S SON
One of the top risers in the state of Georgia,is Ryan Mutombo of Team Forrest. The 6-9 SO has had a great spring. He can step out and shot the 15 footer with consistency. He runs the floor and finishes strong at the rim. He blocks shots like his old man. By the end of the summer, Ryan could be in the national conversation.
