Last weekend, the action from Battle At The Lake enthralled spectators. Plenty of top prospects and teams used the big stage to shine. As the coverage from the tournament wraps up, check out five takeaways from the weekend. 

D1 Minnesota Is The Real Deal

Going undefeated and taking home the 17U championship, D1 Minnesota was no doubt the best team that suited up for Battle At The Lakes this weekend. With a plethora of four and five-star recruits, D1 Minnesota blew through their competition, including a mercy-rule win in the 17U championship. The combination of Dawson Garcia, Kendall Brown, Ben Carlson, Kerwin Walton, and Dalton Banks was just too much for other teams to handle. Bottom Line: the rotating quintet of players that D1 Minnesota put on the court was simply better than their opponent at all times. 

16U Illinois Teams Have Talent

Team Rose and Illinois T- Wolves both impressed on Saturday at Maple Grove High School. With a combined record of 3-1, both of these squads have some serious players Kennedy Brown (Team Rose) and Jaiden Lee (Illinois T-Wolves) were the top prospects
