2020 Justin Lewis | Team Melo
The leading rebounder of the first session came from a local guy that I have seen multiple times. It comes to no surprise to me that Lewis led the event in rebounds as he is always a force on the boards. Lewis carried an average of 11.3 boards per game. I would not be surprised to see the 6’7 product out of Baltimore lead this category in the future sessions as well.
2020 Jaylin Williams | Woodz Elite
The second leading rebounder this past weekend in Atlanta was the 6’10 forward from Arkansas. Jaylin came in second averaging 11.0 rebounds per game. With William’s effort on the boards, he played a big role in his Woodz Elite team leaving Atlanta with a record of 3-1 and one of the most talked about teams of the session.
2020 Paolo Banchero | Seattle Rotary
Banchero also came in second after averaging 11.0 rebounds per game. Banchero is 6’8 from Seattle who also helped lead his team to a 3-1 record after the first weekend of the EYBL circuit. Seattle Rotary might be flying under the radar a little bit after the first session but Banchero effort’s definitely need to be mentioned in making Rotary one of the better teams on the circuit after the first session.
2021 Aminu Mohammed | Boo Williams
Aminu can impact the game in a variety of ways and one of the main takeaways from his game this past weekend was his motor and also his rebounding. Aminu averaged 10 boards per game while standing at 6’5. Boo ended the weekend with a 2-1 record.
2020 Kendall Munson | Seattle Rotary
Rounding out the top five is 6’8 Kendal Munson who again is from Seattle and on the Seattle Rotary team. Munson hauled in 9.8 rebounds per game and reiterated to us that this Seattle Rotary team is going to be a tough out trying to get rebounds against as they finished the first session with two of the top five rebounders.
