Jalen Washington 2022 Meanstreets
Washington is a versatile, highly skilled 6”8 stretch 4 with the ability to put the ball on the floor, and create a shot for himself. He can also score with his back to the basket, using a variety of post moves. He is an elite re-bounder, and a legitimate rim protector for his size. On his Meanstreets team missing top 15 prospect AJ Casey, Washington picked up the slack leading them to victories over MoKan, Rose City. and SoFlorida Hoops.
Emanuel Sharp 2022 E1T1
Sharp was the best shooter during the session. He consistently knocked down pressure shots in a gritty win over MoKan. The crafty 6’3 guard showed the poise and basketball IQ of a much older player, using his size to get in the lane and shoot over smaller guards, while taking advantage of his quickness and shooting range to keep taller defenders off balance. Sharp was comfortable playing both the 1 and 2, but it’s his quick trigger release that allows him a chance to be a special player at the next level.
Emoni Bates 2022 Bates Fundamentals
Bates already generated national buzz after his 43 point performance against Brony James. The number 1 player in the class of 2022 does it all for his club team ; rebounding, scoring and facilitating the offense. Bates is very similar to a young Grant Hill, in which he isn’t elite at any one thing, but he is great at everything. While not necessarily a high flyer, he seems to always be able to go up as high as he needs to.
Jaden Greathouse 2022 Houston Hoops
Greathouse, a Devin Booker Doppelganger, is more of a scorer than a shooter. He combines a variety of awkward finishes with a solid mid-range game. At 6”1 he’s not the biggest player on the floor, but he has a grit and toughness to him that allows him to compete for traffic rebounds and finish over larger defenders.
Taylor Hendricks 2022 So Florida Hoops
If ever a player fit the definition of being 2 years away from being 2 years away, it’s Hendricks. The 6”8 Post is a physical specimen with a D1 body right now. While he’s still unpolished he has a motor that makes every rebound a contest whenever he’s in the game. At this stage in his career he’s more of a cleanup scorer, but he did knock down several 15 foot jump shots during the 1st two days.
