6’0 SG Cole Allen might not have been the team leader in points or a few other categories at Summit Academy but Cole Allen not only persevered on the court but in the classroom. With good grades and a great ACT score Cole worked his way into a favorable position.
When Cole walked onto the Summit Academy campus he was about 5’5 with the mentality to get better by putting in the work. He didn’t see significant minutes on the varsity team till this year, his senior year. He had a new coach and was learning a new style of basketball. Although his team didn’t have a lot of success he had an opportunity and that is all he needed.
He leaves Summit Academy with a great education, a new business ( https://www.saltlakekicks.com/ ) and a chance to play basketball for one of the best NAIA schools in the country. Ave Maria University went 23-9 and made the National Tournament and they return 9 players. Cole will be a majoring in business.
