2020 6’6 Elijah Wood | BBC
Fresh off his commitment to Rhode Island, Wood was showing off his athleticism and shot making skills Tuesday evening. Wood finished with a game high 36 points while shooting 15/29 from the field in a one point win against Landon. Defensively he also made himself known and tallied 7 rebounds.
2020 6’1 Kyree Freeman-Davis | Bowie
In a low scoring affair against Wilson, it was Davis who led Bowie with 13 points in a 44-42 win. Freeman definitely came into the game looking to score as he stayed aggressive with his shot all game long. He showed that he has a good motor and overall he sets the tone for the Bowie offense.
2021 6’5 Devon Savage | Riverdale Baptist
Suiting up for his new school, Savage showed that he could be the go to scorer for his team. Savage was hitting jumpers from all over the court and played with a sense of energy and urgency that I have not seen from him before. Look for Savage to make an upward trend in the months coming and heading into the next high school season as he looks to take a bigger role at his new school. Savage finished 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in a win over Eleanor Roosevelt.
2020 6’10 Noel Brown | Flint Hill
Noel continued to show why he has been on an upward trend this spring. Brown has tremendous size for the post position and continues to improve on his production around the rim. With the departure of Qudus Wahab due to graduation, Brown will be the workhorse down low for Flint Hill. Last night Brown finished 24 points on 7/9 from the field and 10/12 from the free throw line. He also hauled in 9 rebounds.
2020 6’8 Dowar Jioklow | Flint Hill
The other workhorse for Flint Hill this upcoming season will be Jioklow. the smooth lefty finished with 24 points and 13 rebounds last night. He is another guy that will see a production boost next high school season. He continued to finish well from midrange and around the rim. Dowar is definitely a guy that could see a recruitment jump as the summer heats up as he brings tremendous length to the floor that allows him to do many things well on both sides of the ball.
