He’s a high flyer that can put the ball in the bucket and made one of the biggest jumps as far as production over the past year. Two seasons at the JC level should only solidify what he can do and help his recruitment reach a more established level.
Flight 22 2019 Forward Jermaine Vareen: The unsigned senior out of Havelock had one of his better overall games as he did just about everything you could want from a big. He scored 23 points, pulled down double digit rebounds and came up with double digit blocked shots as well, he still is figuring things out but there is plenty of upside in this young man without a doubt.
Flight 22 2020 Guard Jordan McNeill: In one of his first tournaments back with the squad, he picked up right where he left off last season with a high amount of production. He can score the ball well inside and out and has been one of the better rebounding guards in the area by far, he plays the game with a nice mixture of toughness and confidence.
Flight 22 2020 Wing Yates Johnson: One thing about Yates that you have to love is that he’s going to do exactly what the team ask of him as he is always looking to make the correct/winning play. He can shoot the ball well but doesn’t settle, he has good strength which allows him to finish inside the paint when he attacks off the dribble.
Flight 22 2020 Forward Jadyn Parker: He still has a ways to go before he would be considered as a no brainer D1 guy but his upside is there and he did some good things for his squad. Running the floor, rebounding, getting some put back layups and blocking shots are all things that he did well.
Flight 22 2020 Forward Traymond Willis-Shaw: This was our first time seeing him with this squad but he didn’t waste time getting on the court and being productive with his play. The 6’7 Forward with a slender frame and long wingspan showed some wing skills as he knocked down a high amount of shots from three point land.
