Nate Abel – 2021 – PG – Wisconsin Crusaders
A high-IQ floor general that can tear teams apart from beyond the arc, Abel is a steady playmaker. Receiving some early Division 1 and 2 interest, Abel led a very balanced and senior-laden Beaver Dam squad in scoring last season, averaging 11.5 points per game as a sophomore.
Dustin Beauprey – 2021 – PG – Wisconsin Crusaders
Beauprey gets 35 points a night at Mountain Top Christian Academy and while that production won’t fully carry over to the AAU circuit, he’s proven to be legit despite hailing from a small school. Beauprey is a skilled and athletic point guard that’s one of the state’s best-kept secrets at this time.
Brayden Dailey – 2021 – F – Wisconsin Playground Club
Dailey is one of the top scorers in the field. The 6-foot-5 forward can absolutely torch the nets from all three levels. Big Ten programs are currently evaluating Dailey, including Iowa, Purdue, and Wisconsin.
Chevalier Emery – 2022 – G – Wisconsin Blizzard Emery
A top 25 prospect in the 2022 class, Emery is a dangerous sharpshooter. The 5-foot-10 freshman has one of the quickest shots in the Badger State.
Isaiah Hammond – 2021 – F – JH1 Elite
Hammond has been trending upwards this spring and makes his mark with his high activity level. The sophomore is an undersized forward, but plays with a high motor and always seems to get himself in the right place at the right time.
Dylan Lisitza – 2021 – PG – Wisconsin Playmakers Shaw
One of the top facilitators in the state, Lisitza is a prospect that makes everyone around him better. He can score when needed, using excellent change of pace to throw off defenders and attack the basket. Lisitza isn’t the biggest or strongest player on the floor, but has excellent touch around the basket and can score off-balance as well.
Jadon Melvin – 2021 – SF – Wisconsin Rap
Melvin is coming off a sophomore campaign in which he averaged 15 points and seven boards per contest while playing in one of the state’s toughest conferences. A bigger wing that can slash and make plays for others, Melvin is a difficult matchup given his strong frame and ability to get coast-to-coast in transition.
Cameron Palesse – 2021 – G – Wisconsin Playground Club
Palesse is up to four scholarship offers from Canisius, UW-Milwaukee, UC-Davis, and LIU-Brooklyn. The Waukesha West standout averaged 17.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game in one of the state’s best starting lineups that featured three other college prospects. A 6-foot-4 wing that can play point guard, Palesse has three-level scoring ability, including with his back-to-the-basket down on the block.
Gavin Ralph – 2021 – SF – Wisconsin Academy Blue
Ralph averaged better than 16 points per game behind Carter Lomas last season. Skilled, versatile, and deceptively athletic, Ralph has a chance to be a mismatch problem when he’s aggressive. Ralph can not only score in different ways, but is a strong ball handler in traffic, allowing him to probe and make plays for others in tight areas.
Zac Johnson – 2021 – SG – Wisconsin Playmakers Shaw
When it comes to shooting the ball from the outside, Johnson takes a back seat to few, if any, in the state of Wisconsin. The River Falls standout can absolutely fill it up from deep and has a quick, effortless release that forces defenders to pick him up from well beyond the arc if they want any chance of slowing him down. Getting some Division 1 interest this spring, Johnson (6-3) also has the body to slash and attack around the basket.
