Here were some of the stand out shooters I viewed:
Alem Huseinovic SG/CG 6’3 (Chaparral HS/Powerhouse Hoops Rise 17U)
-Pure shooter who was one of the best shooters at the event. Ultra quick release and deep range.
Jake Murphy SG 6’4 (Arcadia HS/Powerhouse Hoops 17 Black)
-Catch and shoot stud. Good body and pull-up is looking clean from deep.
Cameron Le Van PG 5’9” (Legend HS/Colorado Roughriders 17U)
-Shooter! Good feel for the game. 21 points in my viewing with 6 3’s made.
Will Maher 5’11 PG (Mead HS/Colorado Titans Gold 17U)
-Gritty tough and can shoot it. Very consistent from the arc. Moves well without the ball and can pull-up off the dribble from mid-range.
Yafet Mesfin SG 6’2” (Highlands Ranch/Colorado Premer Gibbs)
-Deep shooter who can finish in traffic. Has a decent handle. Competitive regardless of the score. Good length.
Josh Gonzales SF 6’5 (Lake Washington HS/Washington Elite 17U)
-Good sized shooter who gets it off quickly. Smartly moves without the ball and plays the game the right way.
Caleb Alonso SF 6’6 (Desert Ridge HS/Legion of Hoops White 17U)
-Skilled lefty shooter out to 3pt line. Thin but has a high IQ and moves smartly without the ball. Will need to get a little tougher/stronger but has great size with deep range.
2021
Noah Sherrod SG 5’10 (Silverado HS/Las Vegas Olympians 17U)
-Catch and shoot 3pt specialist. Great form and consistent with a nice floater game. Good length to play passing lanes on defense.
2022
Dominic Caprioti SG 6’3 (Skyline HS/The Show 17U)
-Top notch catch and shoot type of guard. One of the deeper shooters on the list and the youngest. Bright future ahead and already started on varsity this year.
