Michael Batchelor 6’0 G PHH White 2020
Batchelor played really well throughout the weekend. He provides his team with some much energy. He uses this surge of energy to gather up rebounds, fight for loose balls, and attack the basket. He was the driving force when his team was down and needed a boost to get back on track.
Dayton Harris 6’2 G The Show 2020
Harris was making plays all over the court. He easily was able to penetrate the defense and hit drifting teammates or teammates who cut in the lane. He dished out over 10 assists and looked like the best play making guard in the event. He usually created shots for others but when his chance to score was there, he made those big shots when he was called upon.
Dayshawn Wiley 6’4 G Las Vegas Olympians 2021
Wiley led his Olympians to a double over time win against Utah Premier National. In this game, he led his team to the victory by scoring and motivating his team. Whenever his team needed a big shot, he was there to knock it down. He really knows how to get the most out of his teammates by motivating them to play above their skill level.
Brandon Jessie 6’4 G Coastal Elite Slayers 16U 2021
Brandon Jessie is a work horse. He tenaciously fought for rebounds and got a lot of put backs off it. This kept plays alive for Coastal Elite in a very close game against Team Inspire. His team would not have been in the game without him gathering a ton of boards and earning the team some much needed second chance points.
Brycen Long 6’0 G PHH Rise 2020
Brycen Long was constantly making plays for his squad. He may be the best rebounding guard in AZ. He lacks size but what he does have is a nose for the ball. He boxes out and fights for every rebound. This ability kept a lot of plays alive for his team and resulted in second chance buckets.
