Here were some more of the standout rising juniors I viewed:
Alex Pape PG 6’2 (Roosevelt HS/Seattle Select High Academic 16U)
-Feel is off the charts and is very crafty. One of the better passers you will see. Makes pinpoint passes anywhere on the court. Has a 6’5 wingspan to play the passing lanes. He has a sideways rotation on his deep ball but he may have been the best true PG at the entire 16U event and led his team to win the Chip.
Jared Roznoz CG 6’1 (Seattle Prep/Seattle Select High Academic 16U)
-Pull-up off dribble and can hit from the 3pt line. Good passer in traffic and thinks the game. Quick on the ball defensively and strong upper body. Smart defensive IQ who seems to always be in the right spot.
Joseph Oglebor SG 6’4” (Balboa Prep/Coastal Elite Slayers 16U)
-Strong scorer and is athletic. More downhill but takes contract well with great body control. Good passer and one of the top defensive players on the 16U level using his athletic gifts, strength and length.
Solomon Little PG 6’1” (Balboa Prep/Coastal Elite Slayers 16U)
-Younger brother of Malcolm Little has a nice game. Good speed and quickness in the open court. Nice floater game. Needs to use more of his left hand but is quick on the ball defensively and is a good downhill player.
Nick Riley C 6’7 (Eduprize/Inspire 16U)
-True post player who has great strength. Very good rebounder in area. A little slow with his post movements but great physicality to move his opponents in the paint.
Carson Kelly PG 5’7 (Chandler HS/Inspire 16U)
-Quick ball handler with a nasty pull-up. Great open court speed and nice court vision to make other better. Good off the pick and roll and normally will rise up and score or will find the cutter.
Dillon Barrientos PG 5’10 (William S. Hart/Strive Basketball 17U)
-Shooter who is crafty, tough and smart. Sneaky burst and a tight handle who can pull-up off the dribble. Highly skilled and plays the game with an edge.
