Here were some more of the standout rising seniors I viewed:
Tanner Poeschl PF 6’6 (Skyline HS/The Show 17U)
-Highly efficient scorer in the paint. Long arms and high IQ to pass out of the double team. Can handle the ball decently and create own shot. Nice hook shot with dominant right hand. Post footwork is good. Gets off the ground quickly to block shots. Takes long strides to get into lane and finish. He could improve on his left hand moving forward but is also making strides as a HS 3pt shooter to show his versatility as a prospect.
Will Maher PG 5’11 (Mead HS/Colorado Titans Gold 17U)
-Gritty, tough and can shoot it. Very consistent from the arc. Moves well without the ball and can pull-up off the dribble from mid-range. Great competitor and has inner confidence. Led his team to the 17U Chip.
Jarred Jones PG 6’2 (Warren HS/Gamepoint OC 17U)
-Strong downhill PG with a good handle. Has the floater game and a good burst to get into the lane. Strong and tough and finds ways to score in the paint with an impressive layup package. Drive and kick and very competitive.
Michael Hanson SF 6’4 (Seton Catholic HS/Powerhouse Hoops 17 Black)
-Catch and shoot 3’s and can rip through and finish through contact. Likes the contact and is very physical getting downhill. Handles the ball well for a wing and can beat pressure. Fouls a little too much but tough and physical.
Roy Eze C 6’7 (Paradise Honors HS/Powerhouse Hoops 17 Black)
-Long and powerful. Very good rebounder and shot blocker in his area. Can face-up from elbow and in. Small hook shot in paint and can fall-away and score it. A little raw with his ball handling but is extremely strong.
Jalen Johnson SF 6’6 (Bella Vista Prep/Legion of Hoops 17U White)
-Long and bouncy shooter. Closes out to shooters and seems to fly on the break. Above the rim dunker and has a quick shooting release to the 3pt line.
Sam Dudley SF 6’3 (Santa Fe Christian HS/California Select 17U)
-Good upper body who gets downhill. Good length to defend and plays physical like his NBA dad Chris Dudley. Capable 3pt shooter and plays the game with good physicality and a high IQ.
TJ Tigler PG 5’8 (Mountain Pointe HS/Legion of Hoops White 17U)
-Much improved 3-pt shooter who has a nice floater game. Very quick on the ball defensively and makes good reads to teammates in traffic. Open court speed is obvious and knows how to run a team.
