The tournament will run Friday, the 3rd through Sunday, the 5th. Here is a preview of the 17U Division.
Locations: The PHHacility & Inspire Courts
PHH Rise
PHH Rise is by far my early favorite in the 17U division. The team is undefeated so far this season and every kid on their roster has a D1 offer. They are insanely deep and extremely versatile. A few of my favorite prospects would be Evan Nelson (Salpoint) , Osasere Ighodaro (Desert Vista), and Alem Huseinovic (Chaparral).
Gamepoint
Gamepoint is a big organization and they are always solid. I saw their Inland and OC team play at the Prep Hoops Circuit #HustleSZN event earlier in the summer. They looked solid despite getting mercy ruled to PHH Rise. I can’t fault them on that though, that team is ridiculously talented. I am really looking forward to seeing how well they perform at this event and would love to see a rematch between them and PHH Rise.
Blue Chip Nation
I am not sure who Blue Chip Nation has on their roster, I never got a response back when I reached out for a roster. I am sure they are going to have a solid squad as they do every year. I am really looking forward to seeing who they have out there on the court and how well they perform. I would guess that they would do pretty well for themselves.
