Shay Cain 6’3 PG/SG 2021 Agua Fria (AZ Venom Black)
Cain should not be an under the radar prospect anymore, but that is not necessarily the case. After transferring to Agua Fria, Cain is still one of the most talented prospects in the west valley whom many do not know about. Cain has a rare mixture of length, quickness, athleticism, and strength that allows him to get into the paint whenever he wants. Further, he has a good feel for the game and makes impressive passes when the help side rotations. He fills up the stat sheet and does an array of things to impact the game.
Carson Kelly 5’9 PG 2021 Chandler (Inspire)
Kelly should not be a secret any longer after a solid year at Chandler. However, he has stayed off of many people’s radars despite his playmaking skills. He makes those around him better and has a high basketball IQ. Further, he is a more than capable shooter who can touch paint as well.
Isaiah Broady 6’6 SG 2021 Chandler (Inspire)
Broady is lengthy and has a consistent as well as quick shot. His length enables him to get it off over most defenders. Further, he has a quick and fluid release. He was one of the most consistent shooters over the weekend. He has a lot of upside due to his build and shooting abilities.
Carson Ledbetter 6’6 C 2021 Casteel (Legion of Hoops)
Ledbetter is lengthy and raw. However, he moves well for his size and has a good motor. Further, despite being relatively new to basketball, he does a good job of moving without the basketball into spots where he and his teammates can be successful. He has a lot of upside and will most likely earn a meaningful role for Casteel next season.
Jimari Grayson 6’1 PG 2021 Apache Junction (Legion of Hoops)
Grayson gets into the paint as well as any guard in the event. He is strong and not afraid of contact. He likes to make a move an enforce his will upon opponents. Further, he is a capable shooter who makes the right reads once he gets into the lane. He lived at the foul line a lot this weekend due to his physical style of play.
Drey Sherwood 5’7 PG 2021 Casteel (Legion of Hoops)
Sherwood scores the basketball at a high level despite being undersized. He is deceptive and accurate. Moreover, he is able to score the basketball from all three levels on the floor. This makes him a threat all over the place and puts a lot of pressure on opposing defenses.
