Roddy Alexander 5’11” STL Hustle: A hard-driving combo guard from Christian-O’Fallon who was always looking to attack the rim at all times. He’s quick and strong and has a nice burst to get by defenders to get by the basket and finish. He’s a standout football player, so he also brings that toughness to the basketball court on the defensive end.
Ethan Lattimore 5’10: Larry Hughes Basketball Association: Solid point guard from Vianney who helped his team get to the championship game of the 16U division. He shined in the championship game as he ran the offense expertly and took up more of the offensive load. He shot the ball well from 3-point territory while still finding open teammates with his passing.
Marlon Owens: SW IL Jets Blue: A small point guard from McCluer North who brings a lot of speed and quickness to the table. He does a nice job of pushing the tempo on both ends of the court. He penetrates well and locates open teammates when he’s able to draw the defenders to him in the lane
Ethyn Brown 6’2″ SW IL Jets Orange: A strong, physical point guard with the body of a football player, but he plays the floor of floor leader with a lot of poise and savvy. He knows how to keep his team settled down and organized. He’s very tough to knock off his dribble when he’s getting to the basket and he can really guard from end to end.
