Zachary Patterson 6’2″ Missouri Elite: The point guard from Trinity Catholic showed well in leading his team to the 17U semifinals. He displayed a lot of confidence on the offensive end, where he drained a number of 3-pointers while hitting a few short jumpers off the dribble. He has good size and solid handles. He is poised to be a bigger factor for the Titans next season after playing a reserve role as a junior.
Ray’Sean Taylor 6’1″ Gateway (IL): A very talented point guard from Collinsville, IL in metro-St. Louis, Taylor is a skilled southpaw who can control a game with his ability to facilitate and get buckets. He is tough to keep out of the lane when he starts to get downhill, where he can finish in the lane or draw fouls. He can score in traffic and pull up for jumpers to go along with an improved 3-point stroke. He is one of the best point guards in the St. Louis metro area.
Tyrus Reddin 5’8″ Semo Bulls: A small, yet athletic and quick point guard from Cape Girardeau Central who plays as a fast pace and is hard to keep out of the lane when he gets his motor running. He does a really good job of pushing the pace in the transition game and he uses his quick first step to blow by opposing defenders in the half court offense. He has a very effective stop and pop jumper who will become even more difficult to guard as he develops the stroke from 3-point range.
Rashad Weekly-McDaniels 6’0″ SW IL Jets: A thick point guard from Trinity Catholic with an excellent array of offensive moves. He has the ability to get buckets in a variety of ways. He uses that strong body to get low and muscle his way into the lane and get tough buckets. He also has a feathery touch from 3-point range with the ability to pull up from 25 feet. McDaniels has already picked up a couple of Division I offers from Western Illinois and SIU-Edwardsville.
Zhvaughn Ward 5’10” Missouri Elite: A quick point guard from Battle who did a nice job in helping his team to the 17U semifinals. He used his speed and quickness to become a big asset on both ends of the floor. He pushed the pace hard in the transition game and played with tireless energy.
