A ton of 2020 players are making the leap already this summer and here are just a few in Part 1 of the “2020 Prospects On The Rise” list.
Selton Miguel (West Oaks/Team Breakdown)
If you haven’t seen Selton Miguel, you are missing out on a show. The 2020 6’5″ West Oaks guard is super tough and elusive. His attacking ability is something that really makes him stand out on a consistent basis. USF, Iowa State and Kansas State represent his most recent Division I offers. Look for Miguel to keep up his hot play and leadership for Team Breakdown all summer long.

Roger McFarlane (University/Florida Vipers)
2020 6’4″ guard Roger McFarlane performed at a high level as he settled in with his new University squad this past season. He is a highly intelligent athlete who can really outmuscle defenders and make things happen with his high energy and movement towards the rim. McFarlane has a nice mid-range jumper as well. In a perfect spot to showcase his game this summer, expect him to take the next step with the Florida Vipers. The offers are going to come soon for the high IQ combo guard.
Tony Sanders (Gulliver Prep/Game Elite)
Three offers in three months for 2020 6’7″ Gulliver Prep guard/wing Tony Sanders. Xavier, Wyoming and Dayton in that exact order. Suiting up for Game Elite this summer, Sanders is on a deep team with a slew of length and true athletes. He stands out more often than not with his stretch shooting and overall elusiveness as a slasher. This will be a fun AAU season and fall ahead for the rising senior.
Marcus Niblack (Wildwood/E1T1)
Hofstra, Georgia Southern and FAU all offered 2020 6’0″ Wildwood guard Marcus Niblack. FGCU, Stetson and USF represent his earlier offers. Niblack is a guy who can get hot at any given second. He controls the tempo with his seasoned ballhandling and his confidence and vocal leadership continue to get better. Niblack has a reliable 3-point stroke as well which never hurts. Expect more college coaches to really focus in on his progress.
Eric Lee (Superior Collegiate/Team Speights)
Just this past week 2020 6’3″ Superior Collegiate guard Eric Lee earned his first offers. Ohio, Stetson and Canisius in that exact order. Lee is a locked in defender who puts his body on the line every chance that he can. I love his energy defensively. Even if he isn’t shooting well, he breaks down defenses with his high flying dunking ability. Lee did just that at the HoopSeen Atlanta Jam during the April live period and hence the offers came. View this ridiculous one-handed slam below. Expect more low to mid-major Division I programs to take notice of this underrated prospect.
