Mason is a high quality athlete that shoots the ball well and attacks the rim. He is great in transition. Last season he put up 11 points per game as a junior as he led his team in scoring. He could easily turn that into 15 points per game. Mason’s ability to affect the game when the ball is not in his hands is what makes him special for Desert Hills. He will be one of those players that will flirt with a triple-double one game and the next game go off for 25 or more.
Defensively he can guard up to 4 positions which makes him a valuable prospect for the next level. Look for Mason to get some key stops defensively that will lead to some fast break dunks next season.
Desert Hills will need Mason to fill it up and he will be one of the players that could help them improve by five games or more.
