You never know who will go off or hit the big shot. Take a look at some of the best performances from this weekend.
Jadan Coleman (Alabama Fusion)- Coleman had a 2 game stretch vs Team United and MOKAN Elite where he shot 57% from 3 (16/28). This kid set the EYBL record for 3 point FGMs with 10. Following that performance, Coleman picked up an offer from Samford.
Tommy Murr (Alabama Fusion)- In an overtime loss to Indy Heat, Murr was the catalyst for the Fusion. The nation’s best overall scorer showed why he is just that. Murr showed up when his team need him the most and posted a 32 point performance on 9/19 from the field (4/8 from 3).
Jamel King (Alabama Fusion)- Continuing with this Fusion theme… King also had a big performance for the Fusion over the weekend. In a win against MOKAN Elite, the 6’7 wing put up 20 points on 7/14 from the field (4/8 from 3). King showed he has the ability to heat up in a hurry.
Sedrick Pettway (Alabama Celtics)- In a tough loss to Team Florida, Pettway put up 20 points and was an impact on both ends of the court. The 6’5 wing is one of the top risers in the 2020 class and was instrumental in the Celtic’s run to the Adidas Memorial Day Classic Championship.
Sam Youngblood (Hawks Elite)- Youngblood’s best performance came in a 22-7-4 game. In this game, the 6’2 combo guard showed his ability to score at all 3 levels, including 4 made 3s. Youngblood has transformed into a top 25 caliber player and MM levels schools are noticing his improvements.
PJ King (Hawks Elite)- King is one of the best pass first point guards in the 2020 class. This kid is focused on his role and getting his team the win. King will pick up opposing guards full court and make them work. This kid turned heads with a 3 point and 11 assist performance where his matchup was constantly giving up the ball.
Giancarlo Valdez (Pro One Select)- Valdez turned heads all weekend and received many praises from opposing coaches. His best performance was his first game against Atlanta Express. The 6’3 guard was all over the court defensively and scored at all 3 levels. Valdez is a unique talent and can impact the game on both ends. He finished with 23-7-8, and it was just the beginning for his weekend.
