Joe Anderson – 6’0 – B Maze Elite – 2020
Joe Anderson is a lightning quick point guard that is crafty off the dribble with his ability to make plays and make shots. He can shoot it as well as get to the rim with his underrated athleticism. He scored the third-most points in the 17U division for B Maze Elite, averaging 13.5 points per game on the weekend.
Akeem Odusipe – 6’9 – B Maze Elite – 2020
Akeem Odusipe is an emerging big man talent with nice hands and footwork around the rim. Odusipe has traditional big man skills and is one to haul in a number of rebounds when the ball isn’t in his hands. He finished with 14.7 points per contest on the weekend. He’s a high-major talent that holds 13 offers already and counting as he approaches his final season of high school basketball.
Norance Berry – 6’4 – B Maze Elite – 2020
Norance Berry is an emerging combo guard for B Maze Elite. He’s got nice length for his size at 6-foot-4 and was a solid distributor all weekend. He does a lot of things that don’t show up on the stat sheet for his squad. He’ll be moving from The Christ School (TN) to Moravian Prep (NC).
Darlinstone Dubar – 6’6 – B Maze Elite – 2020
Darlinstone Dubar is a high-flyer on the wing with an underrated jump shot. He did most of his scoring this past weekend above the rim, showing off his ability to get to the basket whenever he wants. He scored a game-high 23 points with four made 3-pointers in a 84-52 victory over Charlotte Court (KY) during pool play. He’s got a growing list of offers as well.
Wes Maples – 6’4 – Sevier County Select – 2020
Wes Maples is a highly underrated wing prospect with Sevier County Select. He led the 17U division in scoring this weekend with 60 total points and averaged 20.0 points per game for his squad this past weekend. He put up 29 points on five made 3-pointers in a 64-54 loss to Tristars-Team Roper and 21 points on three made 3-pointers in a 74-69 victory over Team Xplosion. He’s a three-level scorer that college coaches should get a look at.
Jonathan Zhao-Olmos – 6’2 – Sevier County Select – 2021
Jonathan Zhao-Olmos is a member of the 2021 class but he’s playing up a level on 17U. Despite playing up a level, Zhao-Olmos showed no signs of slowing down in the Sevier County Select backcourt. He made nine 3-pointers in the last two games of the weekend, including four in the team’s final 74-69 victory over Team Xplosion. He had 18 points in that one. He’s an emerging combo guard that works to get to the basket and score as well.
