Drew Williams – 6’5 – B Maze Elite – 2021
Drew Williams is an emerging wing prospect for B Maze Elite’s Under Armour squad. He was the second-leading scorer in the 16U division this past weekend (60 points), averaging 20.0 points per game on the weekend. He’s got a smooth game that allows him to get to the rim and score with relative ease. Look for his stock to grow this summer.
Brandon Huntley-Hatfield – 6’10 – B Maze Elite – 2022
Brandon Huntley-Hatfield is an intriguing guard prospect with his size at 6-foot-10. He showed off his ability to score in a variety of ways in the opening game of the weekend with 31 points on five made 3-pointers. He led the division in scoring (65 points) and scoring average 22.7 points per game and showed off his point guard skills on many occasions by securing rebounds and bringing the ball up the floor. Look for his stock to grow this summer as well.
Ben Knight – 6’7 – B Maze Elite – 2021
Ben Knight is a 6-foot-7 forward that likes to play above the rim. He was a solid option in the pick-and-roll game and attacks the glass for rebounds with reckless abandon. He had 11 points in their opening game of the weekend with a number of nice finishes around the rim. Knight is a player with potential at the next level.
Cade Looney – 6’8 – Team Xplosion – 2021
Cade Looney is an emerging forward prospect with a smooth game around the rim. He was one of the standouts for Team Explosion’s 16U squad with his ability to dominate in the paint. Looney scored a game-high 20 points against Team Hustle in pool play. He averaged 12.3 points per game and showed off his ability to rebound the basketball on both ends.
Nick Owens – 5’8 – Team Xplosion – 2021
Nick Owens is only a 5-foot-8 point guard but what he lacks in height, he makes up for with his gritty play. Fearless is the operative word to use when describing Owens. Against a much bigger Alabama Celtics squad, Owens battled back and forth with their point guard, finished with 18 points on four made 3-pointers in a 73-71 loss. He’s certainly got leadership skills as his team’s floor general and they translate to most aspects to the next level.
Greyson Honaker – 6’4 – Team Xplosion – 2021
Greyson Honaker is an emerging wing prospect that is a certified slasher with underrated athleticism. Honaker had a number of head-turning dunks throughout the weekend for his Team Xplosion squad. He scored 18 points along with two 3-pointers in their opening victory 74-58 against Kentucky Ambition. In a close loss to the Alabama Celtics, he showed his ability to get to the free throw line, making 10 of his points from the stripe. He’s a player with ability on all three levels and definitely worth a look.
