There were a lot of big-name players there, but the gym was also filled with hidden gems that people should get acquainted with now. Below is the list of the hidden gem prospects that stood out this weekend:
Alerick Hall / 5’9” / PG / Lone Star Mustangs Elite / 2020
Hall is a chiseled guard that plays the game at a good pace and looks to create for others. He is an unselfish leader that teammates love to play alongside.
Wesley Hayes / 6’4” / SG / Texas Legion / 2020
Hayes is a long two-guard with good skills and the ability to hit the long ball. Hayes also has strong athletic attributes for his position.
Stephen Faramade / 6’9” / C / Texas Mel Elite / 2020
Faramade is a lean big man that has length, athleticism, and plays with nastiness down low. Faramade is still a bit raw on the offensive end but showed some coordination down on the low block.
Melvin Holloway / 5’5” / PG / Texas Mel Elite / 2020
The diminutive guard out of Houston is usually the smallest player on the floor, but he is also one of the headiest point guards in the state. Holloway knows how to lead and make good things happen for his team. Whoever recruits Holloway will have a chance to land a player that is an extension of the coach on the floor.
Jaedaun Slack / 6’5” / PF / Legion Elite / 2020
Slack is a versatile forward with a strong body; which he uses to score inside. Slack can initiate the fast break and is a willing passer.
