Players and coaches are on their way back to their respective cities throughout the country, as teams travel all around the nation this time of the year. With some much excitement and basketball action, we are here to provide some coverage! Here is the weekend wrap up from April 26th – April 28th.
Evan Nelson (PHH 17U Rise)
Evan Nelson continued his great summer this weekend. He demonstrated his scoring ability early and often throughout the weekend. Nelson should be looked at as one of the top guards in AZ and the entire class of 2020.
Osasere Idhodaro (PHH 17U Rise)
Ighodaro is a very quickly rising star! He may be the biggest players to blow up this summer! Do not expect him to stop any time soon. He showed off his versatility and athleticism from the 4/5 spot again this weekend.
DaRon Holmes (PHH 16U UAA)
DaRon is another quickly rising star. He moved up greatly in ESPN’s National Rankings and he definitely showed why. Holmes played great throughout the weekend even when his team was struggling. Holmes even had the play of the weekend, posterizing his defender.
Ajang Aguek (Team Harden 17U)
Aguek is quickly making a name for himself. I think his recruitment relatively cooled off this high school season as he did a grad year at Taylor Made. However, his stock is shooting up! He is showing how committed he is to basketball by showing how much he has grown and developed during his time at Taylor Made.
Dominic Gonzalez (Factory 17U)
Dominic Gonzalez is playing at a high level and it may earn him his first D1 offer here very shortly. He is primarily known as a scorer and he plays his role quite nicely. He scored the ball great this weekend and had multiple games of 20+ points.
Ty Ty Washington (LV Elite)
Another high volume scorer is Ty Ty Washington. This kid can just flat out score the ball! He is going to get buckets no matter what you try to do to stop him. He had a couple 20+ point performances this weekend and that should get him some solid college interest.
