16) Donovan St. Juste | 6’3” | William Fleming (#55 Overall)
Chock full of potential, St. Juste had a solid sophomore season and should be handed the torch with the departure of Fleming’s two best players who are both seniors. He’s long and bouncy, plays hard on both ends of the floor and has shown the ability to stretch the floor from deep. If he can continue to develop on both ends you’re looking at a solid three and d player and his athleticism means he could be more than just that.
15) Erik Prosise | 6’0” | Trinity Episcopal (#54 Overall)
Prosise had an up and down year as he figured out his role with his new team after transferring from Benedictine, but he showed flashes of what makes him a very good player. He can play on or off the basketball, he has a good feel and understanding of the game and he can knock down shots from deep when he gets it going. Defensively he has good length and good instincts and he makes good reads and rotations in the press as well.
14) Cam Cormany | 5’11” | Radford (#51 Overall)
The son of legendary Radford coach Rick Cormany, Cam has the understanding, poise and skill set you’d expect from a coaches son. He can play both guard positions, but his ability to knock down shots from deep almost makes it better for him to play off the ball. He has great mechanics from the feet up, he’s able to get shot ready off the screen in no time and he has deep and effortless range from deep. He has some toughness on the defensive end as well.
13) Jayson Fain | 6’5” | Carlisle (#49 Overall)
Fain has a lot of versatility and upside on the basketball court with his length and ability to play on the perimeter and defend multiple positions. He’s a good athlete who can get up and down the floor, knock down open jumpers and can move his feet to guard wings while also protecting the rim help side. He needs some fine tuning but he could shoot up these rankings when it’s all said and done.
12) Caleb Satchell | 6’1” | Potomac (#48 Overall)
Satchell’s mix of strength, skill and understanding of the game has helped him see some major success early in his career. He’s a tough nosed kid who will guard whoever on the defensive end, help on the glass and he’s a good finisher through traffic. He plays with poise and is able to score from all three levels when he gets it going.
11) Grayson Honaker | 6’0” | Honaker (#45 Overall)
One of the best shooter in the state regardless of class, Honaker has already scored 1,000 points in just his sophomore season and he has a chance to continue to set records at this rate. He’s a super confident shooter who’s consistent with his form, has effortless range and will work tirelessly to get open. Even being the main focus of every defense he’s still able to get shots off and fill it up.
10) Tanner Selkirk | 6’2” | Lord Botetourt (#42 Overall)
Selkirk doesn’t play in a major market, but the young man is a good shooter and good athlete with some toughness to him as well. He guards the ball well, he rebounds well for his size and he’s able to score in multiple ways. He can make shots from beyond the arc, he’s good at attacking the rim and if you’re not careful he will rise up and try to put it on your head as well.
9) Mac McDonald | 6’2” | Collegiate (#41 Overall)
McDonald built on a great summer with TRGR last year and he looks like he’s on the way to being a future star at Collegiate. At 6’2” he’s a dead eye shooter from deep who has picture perfect form from catch to release and he’s almost always going to make you pay for leaving him alone. He’s a smart kid who continues to mature both physically and in his game and I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a couple more inches to grow as well.
