Gathering a list of players and choosing which rank best fits the individual was a tall task, but we do our best to keep them updated every three months. Our recent update includes an increase in the number of players ranked from 75 to 100. Here we resume our breakdown series by highlighting five prospects who were not ranked but will likely be included in the next update.
IZAIAH DILLINGER | 6’1 SG | BROADFORDING
As a sophomore, Isaiah Dillinger was named player of the year in his league. Dillinger put up crooked numbers in Washington County, with averages of 17 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals per game. The sophomore proved that he can not only score, but rebound and defend at a high level while consistently creating for his teammates.
NICK MARSHALL | 6’3 PG/SG | RIVER HILL
If Nick Marshall were to be ranked, he would probably be top-30 on the current list. A long lanky guard who is skilled with the ball, Marshall is on the short list for most explosive prospects in the class. It will be interesting to see how he performs on the spring and summer circuit with Team BBC.
MUSA NGOM | 6’9 C | ARCHBISHOP CARROLL
A native of Senegal, Musa Ngom recently arrived to the states, and played JV at Carroll this year. Ngom is a rim-running big man with hands and dexterity. We will be watching him with Team Durant during the upcoming AAU campaign to see how he fits in.
NURIDEEN TAYLOR | 6’0 SG/SF | CLARKSBURG
A lockdown defender who can space the floor, Nurideen “Nunu” Taylor will be running with District Basketball Club this spring and summer. Taylor came alive down the stretch, hitting three or more triples in four of his last six games this season. Can he continue this hot streak with the District?
MOHAMED TOURE | 6’5 PF/SF | SANDY SPRING
Mohamed Toure is an intriguing long-term prospect who possesses the size, length and mobility to guard a few different positions. Toure does have natural touch, but cultivating his raw skill set and getting stronger will be key to unlocking his full potential moving forward.
