The pool of unsigned seniors in Florida, however, remains deep. Here is a look at some of the 2019s that should be making their decisions shortly:

Joshua Scott (Pompano Beach Blanche Ely)
Scott (pictured) is a winner. The 6-foot-5 senior forward has played on three state championship teams in his high school career at Ely, including the past two seasons. The Tigers captain averaged 14 points and 4.6 rebounds in 2018-19. Scott still has not committed but said this week, “I visited West Virginia State, Eastern Florida and State College of Florida.” Palm Beach Atlantic was high on Scott all season.
Brian Dugazon (Fort Lauderdale Stranahan)
JuCo Eastern Florida has become a major player for the Stranahan senior point guard, per the Dragons’ staff. UNC-Asheville had offered but the communication slowed way down and Stetson has now jumped in the mix. The speedy 5-9 Dugazon helped Terrence Williams & Co. to a 27-6 season and the school’s first state championship (6A). Besides being an excellent passer Dugazon is a threat to go coast-to-coast on any given possession.
Rahmel Davis (Hollywood McArthur)
The 6-4 senior has heavy interest from Erskine College in South Carolina, Johnson & Wales Providence (R.I.) and Hiram College in Ohio. “I’m going on a visit to Erskine this weekend and Johnson & Wales next weekend,” Davis said.
Tyler Krivitzkin, Amir Brikat (Cypress Bay)
The 5-9 senior guard led the Lightning to within one victory of state. Krivitzkin & Co. were eliminated on a buzzer-beater 3-pointer by state-finalist Wellington in the regional finals. Though he did not want to divulge who is finalists are, Krivitzkin said, “I expect to make a decision before May 1st. It’s very complicated right now in my process.” The 6-6 Brikat is getting interest from multiple JuCos and D-3s. “I’ve been talking to Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. Taking a visit over there.”
Justin Debuck (Pembroke Pines Charter)
The 6-foot guard has an offer from Palm Beach State. “I’m trying to commit around May 11th,” Debuck said.
Gedeon Germinal (Jupiter Christian)
The 6-1 guard told me this week, “I haven’t visited any schools yet and I’m trying to go to school with my brother [Gethro] if I can.” Gedeon Germinal averaged 15.9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists as a senior in leading Brian Mullican‘s Eagles (24-6) to state.
