All of these guards have played in some big time games and matchups, and we are confident that their skills will transition to the next level without much of a problem.
Greensboro Day Austin Inge: First and foremost he has played for one of the top programs in the state and a well respected coach so he knows how to play the game at a nice level and is a player that makes ”winning” plays on a regular basis. You know that you’re going to get max effort from him on both ends of the floor, he’s wont take plays off and he has an outstanding IQ for the game. It almost seems as if he is a player that can see plays before they happen and is a coach on the court.
Washington Academy Dakari Johnson: He recently finished up a post graduate year and is in the process of visiting a few college programs. Some D1 JUCO programs are showing interest as he already has a visit set this week, he can score the ball at a very high level and is a proven winner.
Trinity Christian KJ Marshall: He may be small in stature but if you have seen him play over the last four years you know that he gives it everything he has on the court. There are no plays taken off and if he’s knocking down shots from three point land, he’s a very productive player for his team.
Cape Fear Christian Riley Adams: One of the dual threat type guards, he can play the PG spot well or you can slide him off the ball to the SG spot to make an impact. He has a smooth shooting stroke and a nice overall IQ for the game, holding offers from some NAIA level programs.
Vance County Corey Baldwin: One of the bigger guards that still is unsigned, he does a lot of the things that you love to see from a PG. He has a gift for scoring the ball but is far from a selfish player, also on the defensive end he does a nice of defending at a nice level without fouling.
Freedom Christian Thomas Miles: A slashing type of guard that does a nice job of facilitating to teammates and defending at a pretty high level. One of the attributes that sets him apart from quite a few is his toughness, he doesn’t back down from any type of challenge and seems to love to play in high intensity games.
