All of these players do different things and are not necessarily finished products at this point but have plenty of upside and are worth a look at various levels.
Grace Christian Julian Steinfeld: A legit 6’10 with a soft touch that can step outside and knock down the outside shot. He may not be the fastest big but his skillset and potential is something you have to like especially since he has only been in the states for two years.
Northeast Halifax Toyaz Solomon: One of the top unsigned prospects in the state, his upside is something that should have college coaches excited. A legit 6’7-6’8 that can play on the wing, knocking down the trey ball, putting the ball on the floor and finishing, he has potential to be a special player without a doubt.
71st HS BJ Mclaurin: He led Cumberland County public schools in scoring and rebounding as well as helping the squad make a deep run in the state playoffs. He is a stretch forward type of player that can shoot the deep three and can be placed in pick and pop situations.
Bertie HS Jaqwan Baylor: Was a high level rebounder and shot blocker for his high school squad, he still has some areas of his game that need to be tweaked but his upside is evident. Averaging just under a double/double at 10 and 9 per game, the 6’8 senior also averaged just under 3 blocks per game.
Lumberton HS Kwashek Breeden: His stock has been on the rise as of late, as he has picked up interest from college programs on multiple levels. He has good size, athletic ability and upside which he has been putting on display this spring as he plays with WBC Elite as an unsigned senior. College coaches should make sure to drop in to see him as he is a player that gets it done in the classroom as well.
Cardinal Gibbons HS Mike Walsh: D3 and D2 programs have been showing him a pretty high amount of interest as he taken some visits already. Just take a quick glance at his numbers (21 points & 9 Rebounds Per game) and you can see what type of impact that he has been able to have over the past season with his ability to score and rebound.
