PG Lium Lloyd (Washington Supreme – 2020)
Lloyd shot lights out from his point guard position on Sunday morning when we caught him with Washington Supreme. On the recruiting side he tells Prep Hoops, “I have two offers from Air Force and Eastern Washington. I have interest from UC Santa Barbara, Pepperdine, Idaho State, Boise State, Grand Canyon, Incarnate Word, Utah State, Northern Colorado, Wyoming, and Penn.” He took an unofficial to Grand Canyon during the high school season.
SG Zaakir Sawyer (Mudiay Elite – 2020)
This Texas two guard broke down his recruitment telling us “Right now I am hearing from UAB, UTSA, Louisiana Tech, and Texas Rio Grande Valley.” Currently does not hold any offers. That will change in the live period!
C Darrius Miles (Mudiay Elite – 2020)
This big center is a little different than the Darius Miles that played for the Clippers and Cavs back in the day. The Texas native is a low post presence that anchors and rebounds in his area. He has one offer from Oral Roberts. On their program he said, “They are a good school. They aren’t necessarily one of the biggest schools, but I like that because I can help put them on the map.” Schools showing interest include, “Texas A&M, SMU, TCU, Wisconsin, Oklahoma State, and Baylor.”
G Jordan Rawls (Team Thad – 2020)
Rawls showed well at the UAA session and the combo guard told us the schools in the mix are “Kansas State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Mississippi State, and Iowa.”
PG Jalen Cook (Louisiana Elite – 2020)
Cook is a dynamic scoring lead guard that took over for his team in a comeback win on night one. He updated his recruitment saying he is hearing from “LSU, Georgetown, Pittsburg, Seton Hall, and Arkansas.” All those are offers.
SF Kendall Lewis (Atlanta Xpress – 2020)
Lewis is a smooth and projectable wing with upside. He holds offers from “TCU, St. Bonaventure, Tennessee State, and KSU.” He has interest from Maryland, Appalachian State, and South Alabama. Hasn’t taken any visits yet.
SF Jamil Riggins (Philly Pride – 2020)
Riggins proved to be an impact player as a power wing that could shoot it and had some shake off the bounce. He had originally committed to Binghamton. Since then he has opened his recruitment back up and has heard from Hartford and George Washington. He has landed an offer from George Washington.
G Jamir Reed (Philly Pride – 2020)
Reed is a classic Philly tough kid that gets the job done! We came away impressed with his play at UAA. “I got an offer from George Washington. La Salle is stepping up interest as well.”
SG Wes Cardet (Team Breakdown – 2021)
Cardet is a super athletic wing from the state of Florida with a huge upside. “I have offers from Tulane, Florida Gulf Coast, Miami, Tennessee Tech, Florida, St. Louis, and more.” He has taken unofficial visits to Florida, Miami, and Tennessee.
SG Emmanuel Obaseki (Mudiay Elite – 2021)
Long and rangy young wing with the ability to get to the rim. He is hearing from several colleges early in the process. The ones standing out the most are “Oklahoma, Baylor, and Colorado State.” He told PrepHoops he holds scholarship offers from “Oklahoma State, McNeese State, and SMU.”
C Chet Holmgren (Grassroots Sizzle – 2021)
Holmgren opened the eyes of many to the fact he has five-star talent especially with his Friday night 19 point and 15 block performance. When it comes to recruiting Holmgren told PrepHoops he holds offers from “Minnesota, Purdue, Western Kentucky, Nevada, Texas A&M, Texas, Florida, and Maryland.” Any visits lately? “I have been to a couple games at Minnesota and early in the fall I went to Purdue for their camp.”
C Jackson Grant (Washington Supreme – 2021)
Really liked this 6’10” center who can score inside, block shots, rebound, and step out to shoot. He told PrepHoops he doesn’t have any offers yet. He has interest from “Stanford, Washington, Pepperdine, Montana. The most interest I have had are from Stanford and Washington.” He recently took a visit to Stanford during his spring break. What did he like about the Cardinal program? “I love the weather there and the academic opportunities it can give me.” How about in-state Washington? “It is close to home and my mom went there. We have always been Washington fans. It is a great school and Coach Hopkins is a great coach. I love his energy.”
