Senior All State – First Team
Noah Freidel of Tea Area. A two time state champion who was Conference Player of the Year and is our top senior. Put up 23 points, eight rebounds, and a pair of steals each contest. Scored 65 points in three state games.
Justin Hohn of Tea Area. The PG of the state champs dished out a remarkable eight assists a game whole also ranking with the South Dakota leaders in steals (3.2 a contest), grabbing 5.5 boards, and scoring 13 plus a night.
Jacob Prouty of Clark/Willow Lake. The Class B Player of the Year had a legendary performance at state with 37 points beating BE and 35 of his team’s 49 in the title game vs De Smet. Averaged 21 points, six rebounds, and five assists per game.
Sawyer Schultz of Bridgewater-Emery. Schultz led his team to third in state with a 21-5 record with 23 points a game with nearly nine boards and five assists a contest.
Jared Jaros of SF Lincoln. Jaros scored 18 points per game for Lincoln who finished the regular season as the top team in Class AA.
Senior All State – Second Team
Ale Rama of Red Cloud. The numbers are incredible. Almost 33 points a game this year leading the state and the figures including a 60 point showing. Add in being one board from adding a double-double plus 4+ boards and 4+ assists a night.
Evan Talcott of Brandon Valley. Talcott led his team to a title averaging team bests in points (16), boards (6), and assists (2.5).
Mitchell Goodbary of Sioux Falls Christian. Goodbary led his team to the state title game and was named first team all conference for his double-double numbers.
Trey King of Irene-Wakonda. Scored 23 points per game for Irene-Wakonda
Dylan Pourier of RC Stevens. Dylan Pourier scored 17 a game for Stevens shouldering a bigger load than expected.
Senior All State – Third Team
Nick Hoyt of Harrisburg. Hoyt scored 16.5 points per game and is one of the state’s top shooters, team was third in state.
Trevin Holland of De Smet. Trevin averaged 17 points and seven boards a game for a state runner up.
Corey Brown of Pine Ridge. Averaged a double-double and took his team to state. Won the Spirit of Su.
Micah Burke of Clark-Willow Lake. State champ who put up a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds a game.
Camden Bialas of Parker. Bialas led Parker to a 17-5 season.
Senior All State – Fourth Team
Carter Olthoff of Brandon Valley. Carter averaged 15.1 points and five boards a game for the state champs
Gavin Schipper of SF Christian. The go-to shooter and second scorer for the state’s second best team.
Jackson Miller of West Central. First team all league player that at times carried his squad to a strong record this winter.
Luke Ronsiek of SF O’Gorman. Twelve points a game for the state runner-up.
Brayden PayPay of Timber Lake. Led his team to state with a 17.5 point per game season.
