Although the week has just begun, we have already seen quite a few players get offers and a few players make college commitments, so let’s dive right on in.
Team Loaded & Moravian Prep 2020 Guard Josh Hall picked up an offer from Texas this weekend and got the opportunity to play in front of Roy Williams of UNC. Hall has gone from MM offers to getting offers from top HM schools from all around the country so it will be interesting to see how things work out.
Millbrook HS Guard Phillip Burwell picked up an offer from Elizabeth City State University which is his very first offer. He has been a player that plenty of schools have been calling about and has shown that not only is he talented but he knows how to win games.
Juice All-Stars 2020 Forward Christopher Nobles holds an offer from Norfolk State University and interest from: Eastern Michigan University, North Carolina Central University, East Carolina University. Nobles continues to get better and show the upside that he has to be special, he’s an athletic player that can score in multiple ways as well as getting after it on the defensive end.
Flight 22 Senior Guard Talton Jones went absolutely crazy over the weekend putting up monster numbers at the UAA Rise event. Sources say that Jones is close to committing to a top JUCO program so say tuned to see what ends up going on.
Team United and West Charlotte 2021 Josiah Dow picked up his first offer USC-Upstate this weekend, he has plenty of upside and should pick up some good recruitment as time goes on.
Team Loaded 2020 Forward Dean Reiber has picked up offers from numerous schools such as: Penn State, Manhattan, Wofford, UNCG and others. His stock is on the rise and rightfully so as he is a player that can do multiple things at the Forward spot.
Wakefield HS Senior Guard Elijah Shabazz made his commitment official as he announced that he is headed to Lenior Rhyne. We have always been fans of his game as he has plenty of the tools to be a special player at the guard spot. His IQ, passing, ball handling and toughness are all things that we really liked, expect for him to have an outstanding college career.
The Juice All-Stars program had quite a few players pick up interest over the weekend but one in particular that we really feel will blow up recruitment wise is 2020 Forward Saiquone Harris. Harris has recently picked up interest from Presbyterian University, Campbell University, East Carolina University, which is not a surprise at all. A legit 6’7 with versatility that you have to love, the upside and potential he has is evident, don’t be surprised to see the interest turn into offers soon.
Team Loaded 2020 Guard Jamahri Harvey picked up some more offers as college programs are beginning to truly recognize the talent and upside he brings to the table. UNCW, Hampton and Hofstra are all programs that extended offers to Harvey.
Smithfield Selma Senior Guard Anthony Council went ahead and made his college decision official as he signed with Fayetteville State University. He can score the ball at a very high level, which was displayed this season as he dropped 51 in a game and averaged close to 30 Points a night.
Henderson Collegiate & Royal Knights Senior Guard Ashad Jefferson made his commitment to William Peace University. Any time you have a Guard that has been a part of winning games like Jefferson has, you have to be excited about his potential for success on the next level.
