The DMVelite Live Period Warmup was full of action-packed games. Here's a look at the biggest takeaways from the first day of action. 

Boo Williams and WeR1 delivered a solid matchup on Day 1

In the final game of the night, Boo Williams and WeR1’s 17U squad faced off and they delivered with a back and forth battle. In the end, Boo Williams prevailed 76-71, showing the strength of 2020 guards Amir Nesbitt, Cam Thomas and 2021 guard Zion Harmon in their backcourt. Harmon took over down the stretch, scoring 12 of his 15 points in the second half. 2020 big man Mark Williams played a big role as well with 21 points and nine rebounds. As they learn to play together, look for them to make some noise.

For WeR1, 2019 guard Nah’shon Hyland and 2020 point guard Jhamir Brickus led the way on offense. Hyland scored 15 points and dished out four assists. Brickus went 4-of-7 from behind the arc to go along with 18 points. Jackson Begnini also had 12 points on 4-of-4 shooting from 3-point land.
On defense, Taquan Woodley did his best to protect the rim with four blocks but in the end
