Paris Woods – AZ Future – Apollo
He’s a talented scorer, and he showed it throughout the tournament, though the team had less success than his play might show. He used his athleticism and verticality paired with long arms and a good handler to get to the basket and score.
Zayn Kimbrough – AZ Breakdown – Mesa
His shooting from outside opened up the game for him on offense. From there, he could find space to dribble, thus getting to the rim to draw fouls and hit some layups.
Kyle Kempton – EV Select – Highland
Kempton was effective both off and on the ball. He slashed into the paint when he was dribbling and hit several tough layups. He displayed good ability to find open space off the ball and hit some jumpers, too.
Jeikel Davis – Team Phoenix – Tri City Christian
Davis used his size to dominate the paint and score buckets on the block with strong moves. He also made defenses play honest on him, giving him some space to knock a few shots down from the perimeter.
