Emmitt Jueneman — SSA ELITE
Jueneman is a player that is able to affect the game and it does not only come down to scoring. He was able to finish with eight points in their win over 5280 Hoops and is effort on both ends of the floor generated plenty more which often times goes unnoticed. He is the balancer for this team that has all of the intangibles to do well. In this game he was the floor spacer as he knocked down two 3-pointers but also kept getting into the thick of the defense to rattle the defense. He has great length and rebounds well, is versatile not only on offense but can guard multiple positions and makes the team better with his change of pace.
Coby Jiminez – Colorado Rough Riders
A player that went under the radars as a really great standout player that does all of the small things well is Jiminez. Jiminez is one of those players that you think he had a layup or two and look up at the box score and have has carved up the defense for a big scoring day. Well, the quiet assassin did it in the Rough Riders victory over B&B as he was the second leading scorer in the game with 14 points. With the two towers that the Rough Riders have it is interesting to see how that dynamic affects other players. Jiminez is able to play off of them and excels in pick and rolls. He spaces the floor as he knocked down two 3-pointers, gets after it defensively and is full of energy.
Grant Page — Colorado Titans Gold
Page was able to do everything as he finished with 18 points overall. The thing is Page is not just simply trying to score. He is able to switch things up and has such a motor and type of versatility to his game that things come easy. He was attacking the opposing wings all game long and finished easily over the smaller defenders. He is a wing with a long wing span and plays the passing lanes well. He is comfortable finishing at the rim and showed that he can also stretch the defense as he knocked down a 3-pointer. He led this Titans team with attacking rebounds, playing sound defense and bringing unmatched energy. He will only get better from here.
Nathaniel Talich – Wyoming Beasts
Talich is a balanced player that does not focus on one specific thing. He is versatile and displayed that in the Beasts early morning win over Salt Lake Bounce. He led the team in scoring and it was his work as a slasher who is always moving, aware and active. He was able to get to the rim and finish as Wyoming was generating turnovers but he also showed that he can excel in the half-court game as well. He finds the open crease in the defense and is able to space the floor with his shooting which makes It difficult for the opposing team as they always have to find him. He is able to run the offense and his 14 points powered Wyoming early on in the day. When he is aggressive, he is a solid player. Just has to sustain it.
