ELIJAH HAWKINS | 5’10 PG | DEMATHA/NEW WORLD
Elijah Hawkins will likely assume a bigger role at DeMatha next season, but before that he will look to showcase his skills while running the show for New World on the Adidas Gauntlet. Hawkins is a skilled handler with some serious burst, and can also pick up his man full court. If he can efficiently run his team and win games, we expect his stock to trend up.
XZAVIER LONG | 6’5 SF/PF | ST. JAMES/METROBALL DC
It won’t take long for coaches to notice Xzavier Long this spring. The physically gifted 6-foot-5 wing showcases a high work rate. Long is a good rebounder with intriguing defensive potential. If he can be as efficient with the ball as he was during this past high school season, don’t be surprised to see him turn interest into offers.
JALEN MILLER | 6’2 PG | BISHOP WALSH/TEAM DURANT
Jalen Miller is a true point guard with a resume unlike any other in the region. He is a two-year varsity starter who has matched up with some of the nations elite point guards. Miller is a defensive stopper who does not make mistakes with the ball. If he can lead his team to wins, the offers should begin to come in.
WES PETERSON JR. | 6’4 SG | BISHOP O’CONNELL/DC PREMIER
DC Premier 16’s should be fun to watch this spring, and Wes Peterson Jr. is part of the reason why. The long and athletic wing should stand out as a result of his versatility and toughness.
ANDRE SPEIGHT | 6’3 SG/PG | SOUTH COUNTY/PRO LOOK ROBINSON
Andre Speight is a southpaw guard prospect who is very shifty with the ball and has incredible touch. We expect him to stand out on a solid Pro Look Robinson team and begin to build his brand this month.
