Below is a brief evaluation from a few of the 17U players participating in a game between Utah Premier National Red and Team B.A.N.G from Saturday evening in Denver, Colorado:


Jaerron Hunter 2019 Team B.A.N.G point guard

Jaerron Hunter was the player of the game for Team B.A.N.G in my eyes as he both he scored and passed the ball exceptionally on the night. Hunter has great footwork and slick handles to aid his athleticism. He can create separation to get his ideal shot and sink it. Defensively, he is great on-ball and always seeks the steal. His speed is top-notch and allows him to finish the transition play, and he is great at finish gin the shot with either hand.

Gavin Chowen was the most important player for Premier to me. Chowen handles the ball well, knocks down the deep ball out of the dribble, and goes up tough at the rim. His lanky, 6-foot-3-inch frame moves fluidly and controlled across the court, but he still strikes sharply and body to
