Josue Grullon 2021 Team KC Black guard
- All-around guard
- Volume shooter
- Finisher
Despite the loss, Josue Grillon was arguably the most talented player on the floor. The 6-foot-6 explosive, attack-first, all around guard was electric in every facet of the game. He exposed the defense in the full court with down-floor vision and finished well at the rim. He rebounds the ball well and can shoot from the catch as he finished with three 3s for the day.
Curtis Stovall III 2021 Colorado Miners Gold guard (pictured above)
- Scoring guard
- Shooter
- Fast
Despite a slow start, Curtis Stovall III turned the heat up in the second half and led his team back from a 12-point deficit to take the lead midway through the second. This was in part due to his enhanced aggression in taking the ball inside and partially due to his confidence as his jumper was falling well. He finishes really well at the rim and has a nice layup package. He finished with 16 points in the win
Tryon Grant 2021 Team KC Black point guard
- Floor general
- High motor
- Ball-handler
Tyron Grant was impressive with his tenacity at the point guard position. He was a great on-ball defender, has quick feet, and can get the steal and take the ball coast-to-coast.
Elijah Corner 2021 Team KC Black wing
- Glue guy
- Athletic
Elijah Corner is an athletic, fast wing who has plenty of guard-like skills to aid his game. He does a lot of the little things right like rebounding, selecting good shots and playing off-ball defense.
Cade Palmer 2021 Colorado Miners Gold point guard
- Shooter
- Versatile
- High motor
Cade Palmer shot the ball well for Colorado Miners as he knocked down multiple 3s out of the catch. Palmer can impact the game as an off-ball guard or with the rock in his hands and had a last effect from the tip to the final minutes of the game.
Tayt Harbour 2021 Team KC Black forward
- Big man
- Rebounder
Any time you have a 7-footer on your team, things are probably going to go your way. Tayt Harbour brought an obvious size advantage to KC Black in the post as he rebounded, blocked shots and scored the basketball.
Amondo Miller 2021 Colorado Miners Gold wing
- Multi-purpose
- On-ball defender
Amondo Miller was a supremely efficient all-purpose defender who stopped plays both in the post and on the perimeter. Miller has great footwork and was difficult to beat out of the dribble. Offensively, he still has a nice skill set as he can penetrate and kick as well as anybody thanks to his speed and control.
Obi Agbim 2019 Colorado Miners Gold point guard
- Ball-handler
- Finisher
Unsigned standout Obi Agbim is a quick ball-handler who can drive in and score off the dribble. His speed was too much for KC Black at times as he attacked the basket consistently, but was still a threat to shoot from outside.
