The Washington Supreme boys looked to bounce back in session 2 of the UAA Circuit. In session 1, Class of 2021, 6’10 Grant Jackson (Olympia HS) and Class of 2020, 6’5 Liam Lloyd (Gonzaga Prep), proved to be an efficient inside out combination, with Class of 2020, 5’10 Maui Sze (Roosevelt HS) controlling the tempo of the game. Coming into this weekend, Maui was currently ranked #2 in assist per game.
Team Breakdown (FL) 49, Washington Supreme 59
Washington Supreme started the weekend with a great win versus Team Breakdown (FL). Team Breakdown is led by Class of 2020, 6’4 Miguel Selton who emerged in session 1, shooting 56% from the field and 48% from behind the arc, but was held to just 4pts versus the Washington Supreme. Class of 2020, 6’2 Jace Barrett (Rogers HS) was unbelievable, finishing with 21 PTS and went 6-7 from behind the arch. Grant Jackson (Olympia) finished with 18PTS and 11 REB.
G3 Grind 44, Washington Supreme 40
In game 2, Washington Supreme lost a close battle to G3 Grind. Supreme did a great job containing Class of 2020 electrifying guard Michael Saunders Jr, but G3 did a great job of rebounding and also getting to the free throw line. 6’10 Grant Jackson of Washington Supreme led the way once again with 15 PTS and 11 REB. Jackson also went 2-2 from 3pt.
C2K Elite (OH) 44, Washington Supreme 42
In game 3, Washington Supreme loss in OT to a really good C2K Elite team, who finished 3-1 in session 1, only losing on a heart breaking buzzer beater. This team is led by Class of 2020, 6’3 Zeb Jackson (University of Michigan commit) and Class of 2020, 6’3 Josiah Fulcher was also featured as a standout player from session 1, leading C2K in scoring, averaging 17 PPG along with shooting 93% from the FT line. The Washington Supreme boys won in almost every statistical category, but C2K Elite went 11-12 from FT. Class of 2020, 5″10 Maui Sze (Roosevelt) managed the game very well, finishing with 7PTS and 7 AST. 6’5 Liam Loyd (Gonzaga Prep) finished with 12 PTS and 8 REB.
B. Maze Elite 64, Washington Supreme 74
In the final game of the weekend, Washington Supreme would defeat B. Maze elite, who is led by Class of 2020 superstar, 6’4 Jaden Springer (IMG Academy). B. Maze Elite is currently one they top teams in the UAA circuit. With many college coaches in attendance, Washington Supreme was led by 6’5 Liam Lloyd (Gonzaga Prep) who finished with 24 PTS, going 6-11 from behind the arch. Maui Sze finished with 8 PTS and 10 AST, and the man in the middle, 6’10, Grant Jackson (Olympia HS) finished with 19 PTS and 5 REB.
Overall, the Washington Supreme boys played very well this weekend, finishing 2-2. Although this team was a few possessions away from leaving this weekend 4-0, overall, there were many college coaches impressed, including the University of Washington who extended an offer to 6’10 Grant Jackson (Olympia HS).
