Game Highlights
Team WhyNot (CA) 67, Seattle Rotary 69
In game 1, Seattle Rotary would win a close fought battle versus Team WhyNot (CA). Team WhyNot is led by Class of 2020 Nimari Burnett (Prolific Prep) and 6’6 Addison Patterson (Bella Vista Prep). Seattle Rotary was led by Class of 2021 (G) Nolan Hickman (Eastside Catholic) who finished with 24 PTS (9-13 FG) and 4 REB. Paolo Banchero anchored the paint, finishing with 14 PTS, 8 REB, 2 AST
Georgia Stars (GA) 55, Seattle Rotary 66
In Game 2, Seattle Rotary would compete against the George Stars (GA), who are led by Class of 2021, 6’10 Bretner Mutombo (Lincoln Academy), who currently holds offers from Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Auburn, and Clemson. Seattle Rotary’s, 6’10 Paulo Banchero, was once again dominate, leading Rotary with 21 PTS, 12 REB, 4 BLK and 3 AST.
Boo Williams (VA) 73, Seattle Rotary 68
In game 3, Seattle Rotary would fall 68-73 to a very good team in Boo Williams(VA), who currently has four 5 stars recruits. Boo Williams, led by Class of 2020, 6’4 Cameron Thomas (Oak Hill) and underclassmen, Class of 2021, 6’8 JT Thor (Hunington Prep) and 5’10 Zion Harmon (Bella Vista Prep) entered this weekend as one of the top 10 contenders for this years Peach Jam, but Seattle Rotary proved that they also need to be held in the conversation as one of the top contenders this season. Seattle Rotary’s newly added, Class of 2020, 6’8 Kendall Munson (Rainier Beach) finished with 14 PTS and an eye dropping 18 REB. Nolan Hickman finished with another solid performance with 17 PTS, 3 REB, 3 AST and Paolo Banchero also stayed consistent with 18 PTS and 8 REB. Boo Williams star, Cameron Thomas (Oak Hill), finished with 35pts and went 12-15 from FT.
City Rocks (NY) 64, Seattle Rotary 82
In the final game of the weekend. Seattle Rotary would defeat City Rocks (NY), 82-64. Notable alumni for this City Rocks team includes, current Washington Huskies Isaiah Stewart and Nahziah Carter. This City Rocks team is led by Class of 2020, 6’4 Symit Torrence (verbally-committed to Marquette) and 6’6 Andre Jackson (ESPN: Ranked #2 in state of NY). Paolo Banchero for Seattle Rotary would finish the weekend strong with 23 PTS, 16 REB, 4 AST and 2 BLK. Nolan Hickman ended with another solid performance with 19 PTS, 3 REB and 3 AST
In conclusion; This young Seattle Rotary team competing against some of the top 2021 prospects, but Paolo Banchero, who averaged 19 PPG and 11 REB, would anchor this team to a 3-1 start. Nolan Hickman was extremely efficient, averaging 17.2 PPG, 46% (FG). Newcomer Kendal Munson would finish just shy of a double double with 9.8 PPG and 9.8 REB.
