Taylor reopened his recruitment this past week after a coaching change at Southern Illinois. The 6’6” point forward has already lined up an official visit this weekend to Lehigh where he could very well be on commitment watch.
Deng Reng (Wheaton North)
Ranking: #35
A lot of movement this week among the wings on the board. Reng had been keeping his recruitment on the DL for the last several weeks, but he finally went public on Wednesday with his commitment to D2 power Ferris State. Long and lanky wing with versatility.
Greg Outlaw (Orr)
Ranking: #36
The state champion continued his momentum from the summer into a strong senior campaign. The big and athletic two guard committed to Central Connecticut.
Will Engels (Benet)

Engels is a skilled wing with size that had a good senior campaign for Benet. This past week he committed to the University of St. Thomas.

May is a skilled five man with upside at the small college level. Great addition to Wartburg College where he committed on Friday morning!
Tommy Halatek (Lockport)

Halatek put on a show with his low post game when we saw him at Pontiac over the holidays. Alot of colleges jumped in after his play there, but Loras secured his commitment on Wednesday night!

This big man intrigued us throughout the process with his combination of strength, post scoring, and floor spacing. Quality commitment for Lake Forest College!
Patrick Mayfield (Burlington Central)

Big pick up for the University of Dubuque as they landed a commitment from this Burlington Central 6’4” standout.
Shea Cupples (Normal West)

Cupples is a slick point guard with a good feel for the game and getting others involved. Also an adequate three point shooter. He committed to North Central on Thursday.
Drew Wiemers (Moline)

Benedictine secured a commitment from a quality wing with size from the western part of the state in Wiemers.
