The junior is a tough as nails wing that is so fundamentally sound. His jumper was on point as he drilled them from three and pulling up in the 15 foot range. Continues to improve his ball handling which allows him to get his shot off with ease. Excellent elevation on his jump shot both off the catch and off the bounce. Made several huge hustle plays throughout the weekend.
Wolfe is part of a three headed monster at Aurora Christian that will all return next season. How did he feel it went as a junior?
“It was pretty good. We didn’t end the way we wanted it to, but we got better. I think I played pretty good. There are a lot of things I can still improve on, but I think it was a good year.”
Wolfe is a player that we have seen consistent growth in his game throughout his career. He has seen specific areas of improvement.
“I feel like I have improved my athleticism, shot making when defenders contest, and my overall feel for the game and knowing where guys are.”
What is the latest with recruiting?
“I am talking to Belmont and Lipscomb a lot. Colorado State. I had a Presbyterian offer, but the coach moved so I don’t know where things stand with that.”
Look for his recruitment to heat up during the live period as a lot of coaches will see him at UAA in Kansas City. Wolfe is the #15 overall prospect in the 2020 class and #3 small forward.
