2022 6’3″ Blake guard Emanuel Sharp is a mature leader and a poised point guard. The IQ that Sharp plays with is highly impressive and he’s rarely overwhelmed.
The freshman averaged 25.0 PPG while totaling 38 points on two different occasions, coming against Steinbrenner and Armwood.
“My freshman season at Blake was great. I think I turned a lot of heads this year and made a name for myself which helped a lot,” Sharp told Prep Hoops. “The most growth, in my opinion, was with my body, I lost 15 pounds in the pre-season. I also could barely dunk before I got to Blake and now I can do it with ease.”
Sharp proved my point for me with that quote above.
The kid is rising quickly and has a great opportunity ahead playing for E1T1 United on the EYBL Circuit.
No offers or interest have come yet for the 2022 prospect, but that will change awfully quick during the live period sessions and the summer overall.
Sharp alluded to his speed and quickness for his size, ability to attack the rim and get by defenders as his biggest strengths.
He says he wants to improve his conditioning, athleticism and 3-point shot.
At 6’3″, 201 lbs., his body is developing and he’s really focused each time he has the ball in his hands. Sharp is a calming presence to any squad he plays for. College coaches need to take notice in this youngster.
