Ireland was dominant in that affair, scoring 32 of his team’s 69 points. Listed at 5’11, but with a 6’6 wingspan, he is a menace on defense and tough to stop in transition. After the game, we caught up with Ireland to discuss his overall game and goals.
PH: For those who haven’t seen you play, how would you describe your game?
BI: “I’m crafty. A streaky shooter. Improving on my defense.”
PH: What is the most improved part of your overall game?
BI: “Ball-handling, and my basketball IQ.”
PH: What are you working on right now?
BI: “My shooting.”
PH: Who do you model your game after?
BI: “Paul George.”
PH: What do you think you can bring to a college program?
BI: “A lot of energy on defense. And I can be a scorer.”
PH: What are your goals?
BI: “To make it to the league.”
