Paris Woods – AZ Future – Apollo
Woods was the main focus of Future’s offense, which relied heavily on him making plays on the balls. His handles and ability to get to the basket helped him collect points, and when defenses had to dive in he made several solid passes.
Michael Lord – EV Select – Highland
He was quick on the dribble and did well in transition. He caught outlet passes off rebounds or collected steals and was off to the races. His layups were big for EV, but mostly he found teammates cutting to the bucket.
Neo Powell – Team Phoenix – Tri City Christian
His playmaking came as a product of his defense, which was great and allowed him to collect a lot of steals. From there, he was effective running the break for Phoenix. The squad always seemed to have guys running the floor and he nearly always picked the right guy off the dribble to dish it to.
Da’jon Walker – Tru Heat – Chandler
Walker was great with the ball in his hands, seemingly always looking to run and find his guys open in the corners for jumpers or streaking to the basket for layups. A few times he made some passes that were both flashy and effective, most importantly finding space to get teammates open to score.
