As we look ahead at the next live event, it is important to take a look at some players that we need to keep our eyes on.
DaRon Holmes (PHH UAA)
Holmes has been playing at an extremely high level this summer and has really impressed college coaches. Every game he had this weekend was jam packed with D1 coaches. This is going to be a reoccurring trend at all of Holme’s games during live events. I predict Holmes walks out of the summer with some big time offers.
D’Marco Dunn & JT Elder (PHH UAA)
Dunn and Elder are going to pick up their first offer this summer, very shortly. They are both playing extremely well and are making a big name for themselves. Both live in Tucson, so there isn’t much room for exposure there, especially when you compare it to Phoenix. This summer is both of their best chances to be seen and to receive their first offers.
Ty Ty Washington (LV Elite)
Washington is making a huge name for himself due to his high scoring ability. There isn’t much that you can do in order to stop him from doing what he does best. This past weekend’s scoring outbursts should put him at the top of a lot of college coaches prospects list. I would predict that Washington receives 1 or 2 offers within the next 2 weeks.
Jalen Scott (PHH UAA)
Scott has been sidelined all summer due to an injury. However, he should be good to go by next live event. Look for Scott to make up for lost time and come out of the gates swinging. I predict that he will play all out in order to be seen and hopefully expand on his offers list.
Bailon Black (Team Zona 17U)
Bailon Black is playing very well, especially since he is playing up a age level. He and his team did very well this past weekend at the Pangos event. Black already had some D1 college interest so I am eager to see what becomes of that and what other schools become interested in Black.
