The Rebels had a few players that stood out in this showcase. The Rebels have always had a reputation of having shooters on their team mixed in with some athletes. This year is no different.
2020 Standouts
6’7 Luke Brower had a good showing as the lengthy big can go inside with good footwork but he also has a nice mid-range game. Another player that had a good weekend for the Rebels 17U program was late addition Caleb Koski the 6’6 W/F had a fantastic high school season playing 1A ball but looks to show his skill against the best talent in the country.
2021 Standouts
The 16U Rebels squad has two back court players that played well. 5’9 Phill Harris of Corner Canyon High School who’s team recently won the 5A State Championship. The speedy PG will be a problem for defenders as his quickness can get him to the rim and away from pressuring teams. He is a good shooter as well. Race Young also had a good weekend shooting the ball for the 15U Rebels.
Look for the Rebels to continue to improve as the AAU season progresses. The Rebels will be at the So Cal Spring Tip-Off in Anaheim, California for their next tournament.
