Coach’s Quote
“For a second straight weekend we were shorthanded (no Jack Isenhath or Austin Gibson), this time due to injury, but our guys rallied for a five game sweep of the Ice Cold Classic. Although we have no shortage of next level talent, buying in to team basketball and playing the right way has allowed us to have as much success as we have this spring. Our boys continue to be locked in on defense, make the extra pass, and do the little things.”
“Grant Holtzer had another stellar weekend and continues to improve at attacking the basket, while still dominating the rebounding battle. Ali Mousavi stepped up for us big and led our team offensively and defensively. He was highlighted last weekend for being somebody who has a large impact on the game aside from the box score by playing unselfishly, shutting down opponent’s best scorers, and bringing energy to the team. This weekend he proved he could stuff the stat sheet as well. He totaled 88 points (17.2 per game) and 16 made threes (3.2 per game) on the weekend. He was a ballhawk defensively and made play after play for his teammates (assists and steals not tracked).”
